Becoming a new mom is quite an adjustment. For many new moms the early days and months can be tough as you adjust to taking care of a baby 24 /7.
When a baby comes into your life, regardless of how much you have prepared for the baby's arrival, there's so much to figure out and challenges to overcome.
However, with these new mom organization tips you can make life much easier when taking care of a newborn and adjusting to a crying baby, constant diaper changes and lack of sleep.

1.PREPARE FOR YOUR POSTPARTUM RECOVERY
When you are pregnant, there is a lot of information about what is happening as your belly grows, and there are many books and classes about the birth itself, but not so much about the postpartum recovery.
The truth is, having a baby is not easy on the body. It's hard! And, it will take time to heal. So plan for your postpartum recovery period and gather all the essentials you'll need.

2. CREATE DIAPERING STATIONS IN EACH LEVEL OF YOUR HOUSE
Once you are home with the baby and still recovering from childbirth, the last thing you want to do is go up and down the stairs when it's time to change baby's diaper.
Since you'll be changing a LOT diapers initially, make it easy on yourself by having a changing station in each level of your home.
The main diapering station can be in baby's nursery and then use a pack and play with a changing table for the downstairs. It makes diaper changes quick and easy – saving you time and unnecessary effort!

3.KEEP A STASH OF FREEZER MEALS
This a no brainer. The first few weeks home with the baby can be tiring. The last thing you'll have time for is cooking meals.
Pick a weekend before your baby is due and make freezer meals to last atleast a couple of weeks after the baby is born.

4. STOCKPILE ESSENTIALS

5. WAKE UP EARLy AND GET READY
For many new moms, taking a shower will have to wait until everything else is done. Though it's easier said than done, if you are intentional about waking up 30 minutes before the baby wakes, you can get yourself ready first.
Taking a shower before your partner leaves for work and having that "me time" will really make a huge difference in your day and attitude.
6.WASH A LOAD OF CLOTHES EVERY DAY
Commit to washing a load of clothes every day. Don't let dirty clothes gather in piles. It will eventually take so much time and effort!
7. DO A 15 MINUTE POWER CLEAN UP EVERY NIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO BED
Cleaning and maintaining a clean, organized home is much easier than spending a weekend cleaning and organizing.
Every night set your phone timer for 15 minutes and both you and your partner will try to pick up items from the floor, the couches, load the dishwasher and clean the kitchen counters.
