We are sharing the first trimester pregnancy must haves to help you feel more comfortable in the first few months of pregnancy.
First of all, Congratulations! What an exciting time it is for you. If you recently found out you are pregnant, this post on first trimester things to do, might be helpful as you start your pregnancy journey.
In addition to the list of things to do during your first trimester, there are some products that can help alleviate nausea caused by morning sickness, make sure you and baby get the vitamins and nutrients you'll need, and help you feel as comfortable as possible during your first trimester.
Though you might not see a bump just yet, there's a lot going on inside your body. Pregnancy hormones are certainly in overdrive prepping your body to prepare for a growing fetus. And with that, you will probably have aches and pains, morning sickness and just overall fatigue.
So this list of first trimester essentials will provide some relief!
MUST HAVES FOR YOUR FIRST TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY
1. PRENATAL VITAMINS
Prenatal vitamins are certainly at the top of any first trimester essentials checklist. Prenatal vitamins are supplements that contain daily vitamins and minerals that you'll need before and during your pregnancy.
If you haven't started taking prenatal vitamins, definitely start taking one now! It contains, folic acid that cells in your body need for growing and developing. Taking 400 mcg of folic acid every day for at least 1 month before and during pregnancy can help lower the risk for problems with baby’s brain and spine — called neural tube defects.

2.MORNING SICKNESS LOZENGES
One of the very first symptoms of pregnancy is morning sickness. And, it is also one of the toughest symptoms to handle. There are some products that you can use to relieve your nausea and these ginger ale lozenges are a favorite.

3.PEPPERMINT TEA
Peppermint tea can also help provide relief from morning sickness. Drinking a cup of peppermint tea (caffeine free) can ease your morning sickness.

4.COMFORTABLE STRETCH PANTS
You can't go through pregnancy without some comfy stretch pants to keep you cozy.

5. SALTINE CRACKERS
Saltines just might be your go to item for relief from morning sickness. Keep a pack of saltine crackers on your night stand and in your purse. They really can provide quick relief from an unsettled tummy.
6.BODY PILLOW
You might not be showing quite yet but sleeping can sometimes be uncomfortable. Get a pregnancy pillow to provide support to your growing body. This is one item you will use for the duration of your pregnancy!

You probably don't need maternity clothes just yet. A pregnancy band can can help hide the front of your jeans or bottoms so you can wear them for a bit longer.

8. SNACKS
If your stomach is too empty, it can make your morning sickness even worse. Keep a stash of snacks close by. Granola bars, proteins bars and almonds are an excellent choice.
9. BPA FREE WATER BOTTLE
Drinking water is super important when pregnant. Water essentially helps your body absorb nutrients into the cells and transport vitamins, minerals and hormones to the blood cells. So get one of these BPA free water bottles and keep on drinking your water!
11.KEGELS
No first trimester checklist is complete without Kegels! Actually, doing Kegels before, during and after pregnancy can decrease the odds of incontinence and other pelvic floor issues as well. So in addition to getting all the first trimester must haves, start doing Kegels regularly.
