Designing Porter's nursery was like stepping into a chic ballpark of dreams, where every detail brought the game closer to home.
We started this nursery design by choosing this plaid wallpaper for the nursery walls. Its varied shades of taupe and crossed lines add a layer of timeless charm and depth.
To make things interesting, we introduced a beadboard on the lower half of the nursery walls. We painted it a cozy, comforting beige—a perfect nod to classic neutrals and warmth.
We added this black crib inspired by vintage American metal cribs and added a pinch of edgy nostalgia, beautifully contrasting the softer elements. We paired it with this beautiful Craftsman-inspired dresser in a seadrift finish.
Now, let's talk luxury. We incorporated this statement-making glider, which is upholstered by hand in buttery-soft vegan leather. Echoing the crib's black, a matte black mirror with eye-catching angles added a layer of sophistication, while a show-stopping chandelier brings drama and flair overhead.
A personalized baseball wood name sign grounds the theme and makes the space uniquely Porter. Chic, aspirational, and inviting.
