Today we are sharing a simple yet gorgeous fireplace makeover. So often, the fireplace is the focal point in a living space and can totally transform the space if you can make it pop.
There are some projects however, that simply feel too complicated to tackle. Renovating a dated fireplace is one of those projects. It may seem too difficult or time consuming to undertake. But this fireplace makeover proves that it with a bit of work you can get pretty amazing results.
When we purchased our home, I never loved the look of our fireplace but saw so much potential and always knew that with a few changes it could change the feel of the whole room, making it more inviting and warm.
For our fireplace makeover, we painted the white brick a gorgeous shade of grey( BM Kendall Charcoal), added a reclaimed mantel and removed the outdated brass fireplace surround.
