Stuck inside and pregnant?
Everyone’s jittery still. Most of us are sheltering in place, trying to keep ourselves and our families safe. With social distancing, also comes the need, to find ways to keep ourselves entertained, occupied and productive, so we can find some distraction and perhaps even some happiness amid the news of the day.
So today, we sharing our best mom hacks when stuck inside and pregnant. These are our best suggestions for ways to live life at home today and start getting prepped for the arrival of the baby.
Things are far from normal right now. But there will come a time in the near future, where things will get back to a "new normal". A normal that's similar to how things were before.
Let's look forward to that day, enjoy your pregnancy and get ready for baby during the time your stuck inside.
MOM HACKS WHEN STUCK INSIDE AND PREGNANT WHILE SOCIAL DISTANCING
1. TRY PRENATAL YOGA
While stuck at home, it's important to get some sort of physical activity. Exercising can help with some common discomforts of pregnancy and help prepare your body for labor and delivery as well.
Try taking online prenatal yoga classes. Prenatal yoga is popular with pregnant women because it addresses the physical challenges that come with pregnancy, such as a shifted center of gravity and lower back pain.

2. START JOURNALING ABOUT YOUR PREGNANCY
A pregnancy journal can help you capture and hold onto all of your meaningful memories of pregnancy and the journey along the way to having the baby.
Start journaling about your pregnancy, even if you haven't scribbled notes in a diary since childhood.

If you haven't created a baby registry, definitely get that done while you have all this free time.
You might be wondering, if it even makes sense to create a baby registry, considering that we don't really know when the social distancing ends and all that.
But here's the deal. Whether you are going to have a baby shower or not, you should create a baby registry. It will force you to make decisions and come up with a list of things your baby will need. 5. GET YOUR HOUSE ORGANIZED

6. TAKE A BREASTFEEDING CLASS ONLINE
For many moms, breastfeeding is the hardest but most rewarding experience for sure.
During the first few days, the struggles can be real, from issues with getting the baby to latch to the correct positioning and the intensity of the baby's needs.
This is why, taking a breastfeeding class will help make a huge difference and help you prepare for breastfeeding the baby.

7. SIGN UP FOR AN ONLINE BIRTHING CLASS

8. MAKE FREEZER MEALS
While you are home and social distancing, why not spend some time preparing freezer meals for after the baby is born?

9.makeover and ORGANIZE BABY'S CLOSET
Is there a project you would like to do while both you and your husband are home, perhaps?

10. BABYMOON AT HOME
The best and safest place to babymoon right now, is in the comfort of your house.
While it is not the fancy destination you had planned or hoped for, you can still have a romance-packed vacation, just at home.
Give each other massages, order dinner from the best restaurant in town and have a candlelit dinner, watch movies together, etc.
The most important thing is to spend quality time, doing things together, that you enjoy with your hubby!
11. PACK THE HOSPITAL BAG
You should have your hospital bag ready to go between 32 and 35 weeks of pregnancy. If you haven't packed the bag yet, it's the perfect to get it done.
12. GO THROUGH THE NESTING CHECKLIST
If you are a nesting with a strong urge to clean and organize, then here's a nesting checklist for you to tick off. Just know, that if your baby is arriving late spring or into summer, your desire for nesting may be intensified!
13. GO OUTSIDE
It's fine to spend time outside, but keep your distance from others. Perhaps sit outside in your backyard or go for a stroll down your street. (only if it's not crowded)
14. PAMPER YOURSELF
Your body is working super hard, so you need to pamper yourself. Take long naps, watch your favorite movies, treat yourself to take out and spend time reading!
