Wake up the tired walls with a fresh coat of paint. Paint is the easiest and most affordable way to cheer up any space and that goes even for the baby's nursery.

2.SPICE UP THE WALLS

Wall decals are an easy way to create an accent wall in the baby's nursery.

3.GET a dresser & Topper

Buy a dresser that can do double duty as a changing table. Use a topper to change diapers on and when baby outgrows that stage, simply remove the topper and use the dresser for years to come.

4.USE MIRRORS

Mirrors are a great way to add some sparkle to the nursery. They help open up the space and reflect light.

5.Accessorize

​Use prints, pillows, banners and throws to bring texture and interest to the space.

6.Lighting

Lighting is a cost-effective way to transform a space into a warm inviting space. So don't forget to swap out your builder grade light fixture in the nursery to something chic and modern.

7.SKIP THE PRICEY BEDDING

You don't need to spend a lot of money on bedding. Bumper pads should not be use in infant cribs according to the American Academy of Pediatrics due to the risk of SIDS. Just purchase a few fitted crib sheets and you are good to go.
