7 WAYS TO STORE MORE IN A SMALL NURSERY CLOSET
1.INSTALL a SHELF
If the nursery closet doesn't have a shelf at the top, installing a shelf will help you maximize the space. We are certainly not wasting any space when there's a small footprint, and a shelf lets you store baskets, storage boxes or bins.

2.BRING IN STORAGE BOXES
Whether it's storage boxes, bins or baskets, they are great to hold blankets, swaddles, clothes and shoes. You can throw a ton in these storage boxes without making the tiny nursery closet look cluttered.

3.HANG MORE RODS
A great way to make extra space for baby clothes is to hang more rods. You can double up the number of clothes you store in the nursery closet by adding another level (or two) of rods.

4.DON'T FORGET THE CLOSET DOOR
Maximize what little space you have, by putting the closet doors to work. Hang an over the door organizer or rack and you've instantly increased your storage.

5.INSTALL HOOKS
More often than not, the space at the back and the sides of the closet aren't utilized. A great way to reclaim this wasted space is to put up wall hooks. Use the hooks to store baby's hair accessories, hats, diaper bag or anything else.

6.MOVE DRESSER INTO THE NURSERY CLOSET
Another brilliant use of the small space is to move a dresser into the closet if possible, to add extra storage. Make baby's clothes more accessible by storing them in the dresser drawers.

7.ADD DRAWER ORGANIZERS
Dresser drawers can definitely get messy too! Avoid this situation by getting drawer organizers to keep baby's outfits sorted and organized by category.
