Designing Porter's nursery was like stepping up to the plate in the World Series of design challenges: thrilling with a dash of how we hit this out-of-the-park excitement.
Our mission was to create a baseball-themed, masculinity-infused space. The first base covered the walls with rich wood accents set against Benjamin Moore's Nightfall's deep, contemplative hue.
Then, we slid into second with a cozy grey crib. Its clean lines and timeless spindle design are the perfect nod to tradition while keeping things fresh and modern. Rounding third, we brought in a stunner—an 8-drawer dresser sporting a natural brown finish that sings ballads of the wood's unique patterns.
The home run was this stellar, slightly winged-armed leather swivel chair that exudes style and shouts VIP seating for those late-night feeds. Every MVP needs a place to showcase their trophies. So, we added this storage unit, perfect for those cherished baseball keepsakes and family mementos.
And because every game needs a good playfield, we rolled out this checkered rug for that extra pattern play.
