Since the HGTV show Fixer Upper started airing, we've been so charmed by the ever gracious Chip and Joanna Gaines as well as enamored by the Fixer Upper style they bring to the homes they work on.
I've had a great time sharing with you some of my Fixer Upper inspired nursery designs and today I'll show you 21 ways to get the Fixer Upper modern farmhouse look in your baby's nursery.

1.chalkboards

Joanna frequently uses chalkboards in her Fixer Upper designs. The chalkboards add both visual interest and functionality to the space. You too can incorporate chalkboards in your nursery design and use them to record feeding times or to write inspirational messages.
2.Over sized Clocks

Time and time again Joanna uses over-sized wall clocks in her Fixer Upper Designs. A beautiful clock will allow you to keep track of time while bringing the fixer upper vibe to your baby's nursery.
3. GALVANIZED METAL PLANTERS

One of Joanna's signature design staples-galvanized planters pop up in so many of her Fixer Upper designs. Use galvanized planters in your baby's nursery to fill up the walls and bring in some greenery indoors.
4.PIPE SHELVING

From DIY pipe shelving to store bought, pipe shelving has become hugely popular thanks to Joanna's frequent use of them in her Fixer Upper designs. When designing your baby's nursery use these shelves to display baby's things.

From old wooden trays to trays made from repurposed wood, arguably every Fixer Upper design includes a few of them. When picking accessories for the nursery, you can't go wrong with incorporating these multi tasking wooden trays.
19.SHIP LAP

Is there ever a Fixer Upper design that does not involve shiplap? If you are digging the shiplap look, you too can use salvaged or new pine boards to create the look in your baby's nursery.
20.CREATIVE WALL DECOR

Joanna is known to get quite creative with her Fixer Upper wall decor and has used everything from bicycles to wind mills in her designs. Look for pieces that are both creative and functional as you design your baby's nursery.
21.SHUTTERS

Shutters are yet another signature Fixer Upper style staple that Joanna uses to bring a vintage look to her designs. Use beautiful weathered shutters in the nursery to not only fill a blank space but also to display photos and cards.
