When designing Gemma’s nursery, our vision was to create a space that felt softly romantic, deeply layered, and quietly timeless—something that felt less like a traditional nursery and more like a beautifully collected interior. We leaned into warm woods, tiny florals, sculptural silhouettes, and rich textural moments to give the room depth and warmth while still allowing it to feel calm and serene. The floral wallpaper instantly set the tone for the space, bringing a gentle vintage softness to the room, while the rich green linen curtains added contrast and an almost moody elegance that grounded the entire design beautifully.
One of our favorite details is the way the furniture balances warmth with refinement. The wood crib feels organic and understated against the patterned walls, while the dresser adds richness and maturity to the room. We paired the deeper wood tones with softer layered textures—like the scalloped rug, woven lighting, canvas art, and velvet olive glider—to create a nursery that feels elevated, cozy, and incredibly personal. The overall effect feels warm, collected, and intentionally designed to grow gracefully alongside Gemma for years to come.
