When designing this nursery for twins Cole and Nolan, we wanted to weave a narrative of enchantment and sophistication.
We started with a captivating woodland wallpaper, its whimsical trees in lush greens set against a clean white background offering a fresh, serene escape into nature's embrace.
To evoke a sense of refined nostalgia, we selected walnut cribs with brushed gold feet—a nod to mid-century elegance yet brimming with playful warmth. We paired the cribs with an olive-green 6-drawer dresser adorned with antique brass pulls added layers of timeless charm, marrying utility with artistry.
For seating, we brought in this modern swivel glider enveloped in faux sheepskin, its sleek gold finish and stainless steel base injecting a touch of contemporary luxe. You'll notice leather accents throughout—from the uber-chic side table reminiscent of equestrian grace to the sumptuous oval mirror—enhance the nursery's grown-up palette.
Lighting was key; a polished nickel flush mount with a leather stirrup detail casts a soft, welcoming glow. And finally, a touch of personalization: 'The James' framed beautifully, anchoring this bespoke sanctuary not just as a nursery, but as a beginning of their story. Every element in Cole and Nolan's space was chosen to inspire dreams, comfort, and a sense of adventure.
