We were thrilled to channel the essence of a snug, lodge-inspired retreat when designing Bayleigh's nursery. Our vision was to fuse the rustic warmth of a mountain hideaway with a touch of chic comfort. We started by setting the stage with walls painted in Benjamin Moore's Pale Oak—an inviting backdrop that envelops the room in coziness.
The centerpiece is a vintage iron crib that nods to traditional American design. We added this nursery dresser sporting charming architectural elements and a light brown glazed finish. It's spacious for storage and adds warmth.
We added a classic wing chair recliner in a deep brown, perfectly positioned for comfort during those middle-of-the-night feedings. Underfoot, a plaid rug in warm, earthy browns anchors the space, complementing the rustic vibe.
No lodge-inspired room would be complete without a nod to wildlife, so we crowned the space with a chic faux antler chandelier and these beautiful prints- from our collection -Nursery Decor Co.
With its rich textures, from the wooden bookcases to the woven baskets, this nursery is a space as warm and welcoming as a mountain lodge yet distinctly refined and functional. Such a joy to create!
