Creating Aidan's football themed nursery was quite the playful field goal!
We wanted a space that was not just a touchdown in terms of theme but also sophisticated and thoughtful in its design. First up, the walls: we chose this charming English tartan wallpaper with a Prince of Wales pattern. It's a classic with trompe-l'oeil texture that just begs to be touched—refined yet full of character!
The crib, a beautifully simple piece in a washed natural finish, provides the perfect understated counterpoint to the rich walls. As for storage, we brought in a Craftsman-style dresser with paneled, dovetailed drawers and ornamental molding, set off by sturdy metal pulls.
To cozy things up we brought in this butter-soft vegan leather glider for those endless hours of cuddles and bedtime stories. Above, a dramatic light fixture with swooping shades makes a striking focal point, casting the most enchanting light during nighttime feedings.
Scattered around are cute football-themed decor pieces, adding little sprinkles of Aidan's soon-to-be-favorite sport. Every inch of this nursery was designed to spark joy and nurture dreams—playful, stylish, and oh-so welcoming!
