Designing Bowie’s nursery was all about creating a space that felt modern yet infused with warmth and subtle nuances. We wanted a space that evokes a sense of calm and serenity, and decided to go with a tonal approach.
We picked this beautiful linen textured wallpaper for the nursery walls, a choice that immediately softened the space with its subtle richness and depth.
For the windows, we chose these oatmeal-colored curtains crafted from a blend of linen and cotton. They add a layer of warmth and texture that’s inviting. And, they hang gracefully, catching the light and setting the tone for muted elegance.
At the heart of the room stands a modern crib in a washed natural finish. Its simplicity and clean lines are in harmony with the room's understated theme. Complementing this, a scalloped front dresser in toasted oak provides not just utility but a sculptural element with its unique detailing.
The nursery rug was a particular joy to select. It creates depth through a layered palette, anchoring the space while sparking the imagination.
For the nursery art, we added these animals prints and this nursery quote- all from our collection. They bring in whimsy and connection to the natural world, a perfect nod to Bowie's adventuring spirit.
