Designing Athena's nursery was a journey to create a space that is a sanctuary but with drama.
By choosing Sherwin Williams Iron Ore for the nursery walls, we immersed the room in a profoundly sophisticated black hue that changes throughout the day, creating a striking yet incredibly inviting canvas.
We chose this beautiful crib with hand-tufted, washed linen cotton upholstery and intricately carved rope molding. Complementing it, the Kendall dresser stands beautifully against the dark walls, evoking a serene, timeless elegance.
As for the nursey chair, we chose the Crewe recliner. Its contemporary design and sumptuously soft seat in ivory boucle fabric offer a perfect blend of form and function.
We chose a sand-colored nursery rug to add a layer of softness to the nursery, thanks to its vintage-inspired pattern. The addition of woven decor, including the Rattan Flush Mount light and storage baskets, brings a tactile warmth, a nod to natural beauty within a sleek design.
To complete Athena's nursery, we added this vintage-inspired midnight floral print from our shop. Its steeped in mystery and allure and serves as a window to a world of dreams, perfectly encapsulating the nursery's warm, inviting, and sophisticated ethos—a truly bespoke haven for Athena to grow and dream.
