The design brief for this nursery project was to create a neutral, calming space for Samantha. Early on we decided we wanted the space to have a chic, modern aesthetic and be a tranquil oasis both Samantha and her parents would adore.
We started with the nursery walls, choosing this beautiful textured wallpaper in a luxurious greyish beige to set a soft, organic tone. We wanted every detail to have depth and warmth. The crib, a true centerpiece, boasts elegant fluted posts and lathe-turned legs, intricately detailed with hand-tufted, washed linen cotton upholstery and carved rope molding—bringing an old-world charm with a contemporary flair.
For nursery storage, we brought in this antique taupe dresser and couldn't be happier. Its clean lines and simplicity balance the intricate details of the crib, adding to the room's understated elegance.
And for the all-important nursing nook, we added this plush wingback rocking chair.
We brought in this light brown checkered rug and this charming grey elephant print from our collection add just the right amount of whimsy and texture. Samantha's nursery is a nurturing sanctuary filled with chic, tactile beauty.
