Our nursery design brief for Amelia's nursery was to design a space every element had to sing of calm, organic beauty with a dash of whimsy.
We stumbled upon this forest wallpaper, and it was *the* moment. The kind where you just know. Its soothing palette of beige, taupe, and creams was like a gentle hug for the walls, setting the tone for the whole space.
Then we added the crib, a modern nod to those gorgeous antique spindle cribs, but with a twist. Sturdier frames, bolder spindles—it brought a vintage elegance that was simply irresistible. And because one can never have too much charm, we introduced a dresser with the cleanest lines and the most adorable turned details. Timeless, but so now.
To up the cozy factor, we knew we needed more storage, so in came an armoire in Rosedale brown with molding details and turned feet. It contrasts against the light walls while adding this grounding warmth.
We couldn't stop there! A light brown checkered shag rug for soft plays, a woven floor lamp, a flush-mount to dial up the warmth, and this beautiful nursery canvas art above the crib to add charm.
