Will’s nursery was designed to feel warm, timeless, and quietly sophisticated — a space layered with texture, contrast, and thoughtful detail. We leaned into rich walnut woods throughout the room to create depth and warmth, pairing the beautifully detailed dresser and crib with soft ivory drapery and a checkered rug for balance. The striped wallpaper instantly became one of our favorite elements in the room, bringing in a tailored, almost menswear-inspired feel while still feeling playful and nursery appropriate. We wanted the space to feel elevated without ever feeling too formal.
To soften the deeper tones, we incorporated sculptural silhouettes and collected accents throughout the nursery. The curved mirror above the dresser adds a romantic contrast to the clean lines of the furniture, while the lamp, scalloped details, and layered textiles bring warmth and personality into the space. Even the smallest pieces — from the framed art to the soft patterned pillows — were chosen intentionally to make the nursery feel personal and lived in. The final result feels cozy, refined, and deeply calming — the kind of nursery designed to grow beautifully alongside him.
