When designing Natalia’s nursery, we wanted to capture the feeling of a warm summer evening — the windows open, a gentle breeze carrying in a sense of calm. We began with the beautiful Summerside Wallpaper, where the California poppy takes center stage. Its detailed linework feels modern and refined, while the green-on-white design gives the room an airy, natural elegance.
To complement the fresh backdrop, we layered in soft flax linen curtains that frame the windows with effortless grace and add warmth to the light-filled space. A natural wood crib brings a sense of organic charm, while the extra-wide white dresser balances functionality with timeless style, its clean lines brightening the room. A plush slipcovered glider invites comfort, perfect for cozying up during storytime, and the woven pendant light overhead adds texture and a touch of coastal ease.
Finally, baskets and a scalloped-front book bin keep the space beautifully organized, while a vintage-inspired gold mirror offers just the right hint of sophistication. Above the crib, the canvas art that reads Darling, we love you so becomes the tender finishing touch — a gentle reminder that this room was designed with love at its core.
