We get asked, “What are the best white paint colors for the nursery?” often, so here is your guide to choose the best shades of white for the baby's room.
White paint is a versatile color that can brighten up a dark nursery or make a small nursery look spacious and airy. It provides a great neutral backdrop for your nursery design and work with any nursery style.
However, choosing the best white paint color for the nursery can be tricky. Though it make seem like white is a simple color to go with, it is anything but. There's undertones, finishes and tones, to consider. Add into this mix whether the nursery windows are facing north, south, east or west, and your decision becomes even more complicated.
When choosing a white paint for the nursery, decide on undertones that would fit your design style and the light aspect of the nursery. Keep in mind that cool whites look best in south-facing rooms while warm whites work best in north facing rooms.
If you are picking white paint colors for the nursery, it's important to test it out on the walls in the space you plan to use as the nursery. Also, be sure to test at different times of the day and evening so you can see how the paint looks in both natural and artificial light.
