Also when choosing a color palette for the nursery consider if you want to stick with a traditional boy/girl nursery colors or would you rather go neutral?

2.IDENTIFY THE NURSERY FURNITURE
Once you've picked the nursery color palette, it's time to choose nursery furniture.
A well designed nursery obviously needs to not only look gorgeous but be efficient as well.
Therefore, think about the essential stations that must be included in every nursery design plan and start identifying furniture you like. A good starting point is a crib, changing table/ dresser and a nursery chair.
3.CHOOSE A NURSERY THEME
After you chosen the color palette and furniture, you should be able to hone in on a nursery theme.
Is there a common thread between the color palette and the furniture you've chosen?
Or perhaps, try reflecting on the color palette you've chosen. What story does it tell or what vibe do you want the nursery to have?
Get inspired by looking at different nursery ideas and see what resonates with you.

4.DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO GO BIG WITH THE NURSERY decor OR BRING IN SPRINKLINGS
Choosing a nursery theme is just the beginning. You've also got to decide if you want to go big and bold with the decor for the nursery theme or just bring in a few touches into the nursery.
Of course, keep in mind that your baby will outgrow the nursery in a few years.
So do you want to redo the whole design in a few years or perhaps, you might want to use nursery decor that's easy to swap?
