Recently, we've been getting a lot of requests to design Fixer Upper Style Nursery rooms. I myself could seriously binge watch Joanna and Chip Gaines HGTV shower Fixer Upper, so designing nurseries that are inspired by her modern farmhouse style is a lot of fun.
Every day this week we''ll be sharing with you a Fixer Upper Style Nursery design board. You'll find modern farmhouse chic designs with airy color palettes and clean lines combined with unique and unexpected finds. In addition, you'll see some of Joanna's signature design staples from over-sized clocks to chalkboards and more.
I put together this Fixer Upper Style Nursery design board for mom Kayla who loves all things Fixer Upper. With a baby due this spring, Kayla and Matt wanted my help to design a beautiful space for their daughter with Fixer Upper influences as well as a space that's soft and feminine.
This Fixer Upper Style Nursery features some of Joanna's favorites including an over-sized clock which looks beautiful when hung over a side board with a plank design and rustic reclaimed wood finish. The side board will make a spacious diaper changing station while bringing a doze of charm to the baby's nursery. To soften the room, I added a whimsical canopy for play time, a beautiful floral mobile and touches of pink throughout the room.
